ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation BoardYour concerns are not unique. Managing the quality of patient care is of utmost importance to not only the patient, but also the Physician in whom the patient places enormous trust. In fact, knowing if the company you are going to rely upon for goods and services is competent is a major concern world wide.

Internation Accreditation Forum The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) sets International Standards for Business, Government and Society. For quality management and customer service in business their standard is called ISO 9001:2008. ISO 9001:2008 is implemented by over a million organizations in 176 countries.

Why is ISO Certification Important to You?

The ISO certification means…

We meet our customer’s quality requirements which include regulatory and United States Pharmacopeia requirements.
We have a program to enhance customer satisfaction.
We conform to applicable regulatory requirements.
We achieve continual improvement of our performance in pursuit of these objectives…

By using eight quality management principles:

McGuff Compounding Pharmacy Services has been continuously certified to the ISO standard since 2000. We are not aware of any other compounding pharmacy that has this certification. We have known two other compounding pharmacies that had received ISO certification but they were unable to become recertified. There must be a reason they were unable or not willing to be certified to a standard. If a pharmacy does not meet ISO requirements you must ask why not? Your life is precious; choose your compounding pharmacy wisely.
