No one ever likes to reinvent the wheel but those of us at the McGuff Compounding Pharmacy do like efficiency and process control.  That is why we devoted considerable time, effort, and money to remodel an already beautiful facility.

The remodel was prompted so that the pharmacy would meet or exceed the expected requirements to be placed on compounding pharmacies by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Pharmacopeia, and the California State Board of Pharmacy.  Additionally, we wanted create a facility that would also withstand the scrutiny of an FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practice inspection.

As mentioned, this was a large undertaking requiring over a year of development time alone.  Numerous specialists were utilized and final drawings were made seven months ago.

Making facility modifications while the pharmacy was operating required significant cooperation between the pharmacy employees and Emile Abbas, General Manager, of EMTEX Construction.  Emile and EMTEX  proved to be a wise choice as time and again changes had to be made to assure that needs of our patient customers always came first.  For anyone interested in clean room or pharmacy construction call Emile at 714 797-3161.  EMTEX Construction.
