The International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding has published a two-part article on the McGuff triad of companies. The first was included in their November/December 2005 issue. This article gives the history of each of the three companies, describing their creation and development. It looks specifically at the relationship between McGuff Compounding Pharmacy Services, Inc. and McGuff Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; namely, how the two companies are able to share facilities and maintain separate operations, thus increasing both quality and productivity. In the second part (published in the January/February 2006 issue) the writer offers a closer look at the succession of events that led Ron McGuff, President, to start these three companies. You will also see how the common philosophy of being customer service oriented has continued to mold, define, and further their success.
